UTC Reading students achieve certificates following UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge
Last month, a group of Year 10 and Year 11 UTC Reading students took part in the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge.
The challenge aims to stimulate mathematical problem solving. Over 200,000 pupils from across the UK returned scripts for the Intermediate Maths Challenge with the top 10% receiving a gold certificate, the next 20% silver and the next 30% bronze.
Arkadiusz Naks, Oliver Thornley and Daniel Bradley were amongst the top 10% of students who took part in the challenge nationally and have received gold certificates. Arkadiusz Naks and Oliver Thornley have been invited to the next round.
Thomas Walker, Samuel Morgan, Ilyas Sung, Shubham Pareek, Jacob Holroyd, Raif Siddiqui, Jamie Dobson, Joshua Whiteside, Aditya Singh, Abdullah Shah, Mohammed Mir, Elio Dallago, Ashton Carter, Brice Scanlon, Georgia Rendell, Jai Mansford, Adam Bedair, Isa Ebrahim, Max Fowles, Aaryan Paul, Louir Antell, Owen Li, Yakup Osman, Rex Thomas, Ryan Beavis, Louis Bailey, Sofia Raja all achieved silver or bronze certificates.
