UTC Reading opens its doors to prospective students
UTC Reading will be holding two free open events during November, giving future students the chance to learn about the courses offered and to meet with staff and current students.
On Thursday 8 November UTC Reading will host an open event between 5pm and 7.30pm. It is a great opportunity to find out more about studying at a World Class, Ofsted Outstanding school and will give prospective students and their parents the opportunity to not only meet current students and staff, but also the industry partners the school works closely with.
There will also be some great science, engineering and computing activities going on, and the chance to tour the state-of-the-art facilities. The talk from UTC Reading Principal, Jonathan Nicholls will take place at 6.15pm.
At the open event, there will also be a bake sale, organised by Year 12 students as a fundraiser to help raise money for a business they are creating as part of the Young Enterprise Company Programme.
For those that cannot make the 8 November, or would like to see the school in action during the school day, UTC Reading are also hosting an open morning on Tuesday 13 November between 9am and 10.30am.
The events are free but pre-registration is required by visiting the events page on our website.
