Senior Mathematics Challenge 2017

On the 7 November a group of Year 12 and Year 13  UTC Reading pupils took part in the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge.

Over 100,000 pupils from across the UK returned scripts for the Senior Maths Challenge with the top 10% receiving a gold certificate, the next 20%, silver and the next 30%, bronze.

Alexander Carpenter and Mark Seaman were amongst the top 10% of students who took part in the challenge nationally, receiving gold certificates and being invited to the next round.

Joseph Dowling, Gleb Dianov, Raheim Kisakye, Emily Reed, Joe Rowlinson, James Randall, Adam Ma, Jack Hughes, Nana Asante, Afreen Hussain, Jake Wilkinson, Alexander Breen, David Hayden, Isaac Fountain, all received silver or bronze certificates.
