Architecture students get creative with Lego

Architecture students had a creative start to the year as they took part in a Lego workshop inspired by Channel 4's "Lego Masters".

The workshop was delivered by Stephanie Mitchell, Director of Industry Relations and Teacher of Design, Technology and Engineering at UTC Reading.

Stephanie initially tasked students with designing and building a mode of transport. They were then required to choose a hobby or interest and use this as a theme to create a design of an architectural building.

Stephanie commented: "The workshop was a great way to introduce students to our new Architecture course. As well as being fun and engaging, it tested their creativity and team building skills and was a good opportunity to see how well they respond to a given brief."
