On Tuesday 28 November Gemma Hood, Linda Hansson and Sarah Rowland from Volume AI spoke as part of our IET Women in STEM Talk Series.
This talk series is organised by UTC Reading in conjunction with Leighton Park School, Kendrick School and Reading Girls’ School and this talk was hosted by Leighton Park School.
Gemma, Linda and Sarah gave an insight into their jobs at Volume AI, a leading global technology and innovation company, taking artificially intelligent applications to market. Gemma has overall responsibility for Volume’s people strategy after setting up their HR department, Sarah is a Digital Project Manager and Linda is a programmer.
Volume have delivered one of the world’s first commercial cognitive websites and are well known in the field of robotics.
