The Department for Education (DfE) have released further details on the arrangement for exams which have been cancelled in the academic year 2019/20 due to the coronavirus outbreak. Full release here.
The government have released guidance around key workers. It’s important to note that many parents working in the sectors listed may be able to ensure their child is kept at home. And every child who can be safely cared for at home should be. Full update to parents at 10.00am this morning.

Update 18 March:
Following the update from the UK government's Education Secretary today, stating that schools will close at the end of this week (until further notice) our Leadership Team are working to put in place final plans for next week, to include how we continue to provide support for children of key workers and our most vulnerable children. We will release further information tomorrow morning.

Please note that UTC Reading is open as normal for students in Years 11 &13. Year 10 and 12 students are working from home with remote learning access & activities set up.
