UTC Reading students put their engineering and teamwork skills to the test in a live scenario after successfully qualifying to take part in the Royal Navy Engineering challenge.
We are open today as normal (Monday 19 March 2018). Please be careful when entering Crescent Road and the UTC Reading car park as it is slippery. Our site team have been out to clear paths and grit but please be careful.
Last week, Joanne Harper, Executive Principal of UTC Reading, UTC Swindon and Heathrow UTC, had an article published in the ‘Guide to STEM’ supplement in TES magazine.
This week, UTC Reading had a visit from Captain David Joyce, who leads the Royal Navy's affiliation programme with UTCs, to present them with the Royal Navy UTC Partnering Charter, signifying their intention to affiliate with UTC Reading.
On Friday 23 February, two STEM ambassadors visited UTC Reading to give lectures to students about their careers and current work.
On Friday 23 February, 15 Year 12 Art and Design Architecture students went to London for a walking tour of key architectural points of interest and visited the Victoria and Albert Museum.
