QA Apprenticeships present potential careers to students
QA Apprenticeships, a great supporter of skills development and careers pathways at UTC Reading, have been running a series of sessions for our students. The aim of the sessions is to provide our students with information on the best careers available in Reading and the local area in the technology sector.
Delivering high profile apprenticeships with our industry partners such as Microsoft, Cisco, Prudential, and many others, QA are perfectly placed to identify suitable opportunities for the next step in our students’ careers. We are delighted that some UTC students have already secured top tier apprenticeships with QA.
Jade Brown, Schools Liaison Ambassador at QA, was energetic in her praise of the quality of our students. She said: “It is fantastic to see so many motivated and passionate young people, who are obviously ready and informed about where they want to be in five years. I have had a number of discussions with Year 11 and Year 13 students on their aspirations in general, and on their interests in areas such as software development and cyber security. We look forward to recruiting more UTC students this year”.
