UTC Reading’s KS5 students excel in Senior Maths Challenge

A group of Year 12 and Year 13 UTC Reading students took part in the Senior Maths Challenge, being set 60 minutes to tackle challenging maths questions under strict exam conditions.

The challenge aims to stimulate mathematical problem solving. Over 250,000 pupils from across the UK competed in the challenge, with the top 10% of students nationally receiving a gold certificate, the next 20% silver and the next 30% bronze.

Wisam and Daniel C were amongst the top 10% of students who took part in the challenge nationally and have received gold certificates. Arkadiusz, Gabriel, Thomas, Daniel B, Dylan, Daniel W, Emma and Keegan also excelled by achieved silver and bronze certificates.
