Salesforce Trailhead Rangers at UTC Reading

Two staff members at UTC Reading; Robert Bradley, Teacher of Computing, and Erika Ujvari, Enrichment Instructor, have both achieved Salesforce Trailhead “Rangers” status last month, the highest rank obtainable.

To make it easy for people to skill up, Salesforce have created the Trailhead Academy, where you can study free and earn badges to prove your abilities. Enrichment sessions take place at the UTC for staff and students to dedicate time to this programme. They are supported regularly by mentors from local industry partners who are experts in this field.

To further support their development, students are invited to the monthly Thames Valley Salesforce Developers Group meetup, where local developers regularly meet on the first Wednesday evening of each month at UTC Reading.

Jay Dear, Product Management at Salesforce, who introduced Robert to Salesforce Trailhead, congratulated him on his status.

Erika spoke about her achievement saying, “I'm so glad Trailhead by Salesforce came into my life 4 years ago. It not only helped me to learn a lot about Salesforce but through my passion for the platform, I found a wonderful volunteering opportunity [at UTC Reading] and am now an enrichment instructor, supporting secondary and A-level students to acquire skill and hands-on project experience with Salesforce.”
