F1 in Primary Schools competition takes off

On Tuesday 1 November, we were delighted to welcome teachers from St Anne's Catholic Primary School and Caversham Primary School to a training day for F1 in Primary Schools.

The training day was in preparation for the national F1 in Primary Schools competition, where teams of students from local primary schools will develop and race cars that they have designed and created using a CNC plotter-cutter.

UTC Reading Engineering Teacher Sean Kearns ran the training session, explaining the rules and showing teachers how to use the software to design and make cars for the competition.

We look forward to seeing how students get on during the elimination round in February and regional final in April.
