  • UTC Reading students celebrate GCSE results

    Year 11 students at UTC Reading are celebrating this morning after collecting their GCSE results. The Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ UTC, specialising in Engineering and Computing, which offers a strong technical education alongside GCSE’s in a unique workplace-style environment, saw grades improve from 2018 across all subjects.

  • UTC Reading’s STEM summer school success

  • UTC Reading students and alumni competed in the Royal Navy Junior Field Gun Challenge this July under the banner of ‘ALET (Activate Learning Education Trust) Warriors.

    The week-long event involved students working together to assemble a field gun (small canon), transporting it across the track at speed, firing and then disassembling it.
