Dress Code

At UTC Reading we have high expectations of our community, and this includes what the staff and students wear every day.

All students and staff are expected to wear smart formal, business dress. Our students say this is a change from their previous school and makes a big difference to their mindset being in a professional environment.

Male students wear a shirt and tie with formal trousers and a jacket. Female students wear formal trousers or a skirt/dress of reasonable length with a smart top and jacket.

For Year 10 and 11 PE lessons, students are required to wear a UTC Reading polo shirt. Please note that the other items on our online shop are at parent discretion such as the V-neck jumper. You can order the polo shirt here.

You can get all the details of expectations in the following  Student Professional Dress Code.
