Our second open event of the academic year is a great opportunity to find out more about studying at a World Class, Ofsted Outstanding school. You will have the opportunity to meet current students, staff and some of our industry partners. You can also take part in some great science, engineering and computing activities, utilising our fantastic facilities.
Come along and see what a University Technical College (UTC) has to offer! Our first open event of the academic year is a great opportunity to find out more about studying at UTC Reading. You will have the opportunity to meet current students, staff and some of our industry partners. You can also take part in some great science, engineering and computing activities, utilising our fantastic facilities. The welcome talk will be held in our Main Hall at 6.45pm. Before and after the welcome talk, you will be able to tour around our building at your own leisure, with students and staff on hand for any questions. UTC Reading specialises in engineering and computing and takes students in Year 10 (aged 14) and Year 12 (aged 16). Located on Crescent Road in Reading, our students learn alongside leading industry employers to help prepare them for the jobs of tomorrow. To attend, please click 'register' ( only one ticket is needed per family ). You will then receive an e-ticket to the email address you register with. Please bring this e-ticket along with you on the night. We look forward to seeing you!
Celebrate our students' talents and achievements at our showcase event! We are opening our doors from 5-7pm on Wednesday10th July for our Summer Exhibition where we will be showcasing our student's work. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the incredible talents and achievements of our students across all year groups. Date: 10th July 2024Time: 5-7pm Event Highlights: Subject-Specific Exhibits: Explore a range of student work, from science projects to art displays, and see firsthand the outstanding outcomes and achievements from every year group. Personal Hobbies and Interests: Discover the unique hobbies and passions of our students, including photography, cooking/baking, model making, and much more. Each student's personal touch will be on full display. Whether you are a parent, student,alumni or member of the public, there is something for everyone to enjoy and appreciate.
